We are the Thomas family: Scott and Amber, Reagan (5), Garrett (4), and Everett, 4 months. Amber and I have been married for 8 years and have spent that time finishing school, growing a family, and building our lives. After college I got a teaching job at Red Mountain high school and have been teaching and coaching there for the last 6 years. Amber has her masters degree in counseling and recently worked with the substance abuse population. During that time we had the privilege of welcoming our 3 beautiful children into our family. Our daughter Reagan is a talkative, spunky little girl who loves school and all things princesses and pink. Our son Garrett is curious and adventurous and loves all things cars. Our newest addition Everett is a happy, wide-eyed baby who loves to giggle and snuggle. Two years ago on a drive to a family vacation we both felt God was calling us into full time missions but did not know where that would lead. After months of prayer, research, and discussions we decided to join OM, an international missions organization based near Atlanta, Georgia. While we knew we were supposed to go we did not know where God was leading us to serve. After looking at a multitude of ministries all over the world; and months of prayerful consideration we felt Gods call for our family to serve in South Africa. We couldn’t be more excited to join the team in South Africa and begin to work alongside them as they grow the ministry they have had there since 1986.
